Resume

Craig Daniel: 1996 was my first year of fantasy football. It was a typical fantasy football league as far as when they first started becoming popular. Not a keeper league, two divisions, eight players and top two from each division make the playoffs. Played that for four years and made playoffs three out of four years, never won it all but made it to final game once. For the following 4 years I played in a keeper league with eight guys, the draft was an auction style which is more complex than your basic round robin draft. You could keep players from the previous year based on how much you bid on them back then. That league folded up and I ran my own league with Tom at Strongbow. I played in this league for two years and made the playoffs both years, but did not win the big one. I was offered this opportunity and will dismantle the Strongbow league to focus on this league only, if I am accepted. As you can see from my experience I have made a lot of playoffs but never won the big one, which will make it that much sweeter when I do it for the first time in this prestigous league. My brother Brad will be helping me with all the decisions throughout the year.

Brad Daniel: I started about 4 or 5 years back when more and more internet leagues became available to me. I have had many yahoo teams but no longer do yahoo leagues because it isn't competitive enough. I joined my brother's Strongbow league in 2003 but barely missed the playoffs and I also started my own league with an auction draft with me and 7 of my other buddies. I won it all in my own league and then in 2004 I made it to the playoffs in the Strongbow league and missed the Super Bowl because of one touchdown grab by Derrick Mason. In 2004 I also joined a 12 team fantasy league on-line for $40 and made the playoffs. In all of my years of fantasy football I have never not turned in a line up and I have never played anyone on a bye week. I am looking forward to working with my brother to turn this team around and make a run to the top of the standings and bring a Championship to the Breeders.

Are we sure this is not just John and Tom trying to pick up a farm team? I'll be might suspicious when draft day comes and neither Tom and John or Craig and Brad are not in the room at the same time.

Non the less - nice resumes fellas. You don't have to go so far as being in our league only. I am in another keeper league (12th year - going back to the days of checking the Post to get scores). But that is it for me. I've tried the yahoo leagues... and may do one just to have the thrill of doing a draft from round 1, but that's about it for me.

It is good to see the Daniel Bros posting their resume. I have competed against both of them, and they are excellent owners. I also think that because they are working together it will help them adjust to the CAFFL competition. I think the hardest adjustment is making the switch from a redraft into a keeper league, because players' value is so much different. It would be a great decision to have them in our league, and it will be even more fun to dominate them on the field.

Yeah, it'll probably take 'em a year or so to figure out that only one team wins the title in this league.

That is a great point, bro, and one that you should also consider.
