Thinking about that picture makes me laugh every time. It's become a very close second to this one:

Maybe that one will grow on me, but I consider it a DISTANT 2nd place to the first picture.

I keep imagining the ontology of the sign.

Spartan Plant Manager - Why is production down again this month?

Spartan Floor Supervisor - We're shorthanded again, sir.

SPM - Shorthanded!? What keeps happening to the foreign workers we're bringing in?

SFM - Our native employees continue to kick them into the bottomless pit, sir.

SPM - They're STILL letting themselves get kicked into the hole? Don't they know that in Sparta it's customary to kick foreigners into yawning chasms when the opportunity arises?

SFM - Apparently not, sir.

SPM - If only we some way to warn the foreigners about our Spartan customs. Perhaps if we had a sign we could place near the yawning chasm, we wouldn't keep losing employees.

SFM - I'll get on that, sir.

I, too, find the premise for which that sign exists absolutely hilarious.

I pictured it out in public squares, markets and what-not, warning passerbys to use caution in that since this is Sparta, someone is liable to come kick you into a bottomless pit.

I find the "This is Sparta!" craze great. No matter how stupid the spoof, it's funny.

My stomach hurts from laughing at this one.

Even though this one is so stupid, I almost pissed my pants when I saw it.
