Not sure what this means??

Given that the CAFFL will be drafting the night before the season begins, we will not have any free agent bidding until next week.

Didn't we have some link available last year where we could submit our bids?

We're getting rid of the old transaction forms on the website. It's much easier to use the message boards to collect this information. The Transaction Form link will simply lead to a "reply" page where the owners can submit their bids. Our owners do not have permissions to view the Forum, Topic or posts...they can only "reply" to them.

Once the FA deadline has passed, we will simply slice the bid posts from this topic and move them to your leagues Franchise Management Forum as "Week #x Bids".

It's much easier plus it offers more security (with my old transaction form there was nothing preventing an owner from submitting bids under another teams name). It's also timestamped and allows you and Rob access to this information using your commissioner logins.

Plus we can use the fancy smilies and big fat fonts.

So it sounds like this is still a work in progress... cause when I login as Waxx I do not see this thread. I only see it when I login as the Commish...

Are you planning on coming to the draft to maybe talk about some of the changes or functions to the website...??

I know you have been working hard to update the site but I am starting to get confused now with stuff changing from one week to the next...

might you at least post some article to both leagues talking about some of the key features to the site... we all are not as smart as you ya know

Does the WWFFL have free agent bids during the opening weekend?
My recollection is that we don't.

No we don't.

Actually, we do. We always have. The only thing you can't do is activate PS playes. They must remain on the PS for at least the first week of the season.
Otherwise, Free Agency is open for owners to cut/bid prior to the opening games.

So we can bid on players for tonight's game now? or do FA bids start tomorrow? I don't remember ever doing this.

If we can make FA bids, I suggest we waive that right this year considering I don't even know for sure who is on my team - let alone anyone else's team, nor can I post a lineup.

I can't help you're stupid. All the necessary links are available. There is a Starting Lineup and Submit Free Agent Bids link in the upper left hand corner of the site (you have to be logged on).

So we can submit bids for tonight's game then.

btw, none of the WWFFL links work - I didn't see the links at the top.

I'll work on correcting this. I'm not sure what happened. It's only a problem with the "football" theme. Log in, go to My Account then click on the Select Theme icon. Change your theme to the proper league (wwffl or caffl) and Save the changes. The menus work on that theme.
